Cast Acrylic vs Extruded Acrylic — What's the Difference?

Not all acrylic sheet is equal. Cast acrylic is manufactured in individual sheets using a slower, more controlled process that produces a more consistent cell structure, better optical clarity and superior resistance to chemicals and UV radiation. It is the preferred choice for high-end signage, laser engraving and exterior applications. Extruded acrylic is produced continuously through a die and is more affordable, making it well-suited for indoor signage and display applications where budget is a priority. Printing on Acrylic

We use UV-curable flatbed printing to apply full-colour graphics, logos and text directly to acrylic sheet. UV printing bonds the ink permanently to the substrate, producing a scratch-resistant, vibrant finish that does not fade or peel. For a second-surface print effect — where the ink is applied to the back of clear acrylic and viewed through the front — we reverse-print artwork to create depth and protect the image behind the acrylic face.

Stand-Off Fixings

Stand-off fixings (also called barrel bolts or locator fixings) are the hallmark of premium acrylic signage. The sign is mounted a few millimetres away from the wall surface, with polished metal fixings visible at each corner. This creates a floating three-dimensional effect that is associated with quality corporate fitouts. Compliance and Accessible Signage
